Cellcom’s website is part of an intense and long term strategy that changes the business processes of the company while turning difficulties into opportunities. Cellcom, the industry leader through the years, faced difficult challenges posed by rapid changes in mobile usage. realcommerce is particularly proud of their success in implementing technology strategies that serve as innovative business policies that addressed this very significant change.
Advanced E-Commerce Implementation
As part of the project, realcommerce developed the content management and online and mobile commerce, based on Microsoft’s MOSS 2007 technology. This development included the interfaces with many of the organization’s systems, including the billing systems, support applications, a marketing content management platform, and the commerce system.
Comprehensive Self-Care Approach
The personalized area allows each Cellcom customer to see detailed invoices and bills, and to receive personal information related to their usage and consumption habits in a variety of sectors. In addition, this area allows the user to manage her personal phone book, perform backups, send SMS and MMS messages from the website at special rates, and to receive special personalized offers.
Award Winning Website
Following its launch, the Cellcom website won two awards: one from Microsoft for technological implementation of MOSS 2007 and the second for the best site of 2009 in the mobile category of the WebiAwards, which was organized by “People and Computers”.
